Thanks to a really great article on Designer’s Top Cities to Shop In, I fell down a rabbit hole of interior delight after noticing that Disc Interiors shares our obsession with Copenhagen. With a great appreciation of imperfect beauty that comes with an aging home, Disc Interiors’ principle designers, Krista Schrock and David John Dick, aren’t afraid to take on established properties with needs. I love their philosophy:
“We favor rooms that reveal themselves quietly over time and offer ease to our clients—homes of calibrated simplicity that balance the push and pull of modern life.”
With such a beautiful perspective, they have helped their clients create beautiful spaces, two of which have absolutely captivated me. So, today, we have two homes to choose from because I am painfully indecisive and cannot commit to house monogamy! First, we get to see a garden home in the Miracle Mile area of Los Angeles and then a Modern Masterpiece in Manhattan Beach.
Which home would you love to live in? Perhaps both?
It’s a pretty special property, isn’t it? It definitely makes me crave ebony wood, crystal chandeliers for the dining room, and modern seating with some epic wall sconces thrown in for good measure!
Then there is Modern Manhattan Beach::
Personally, I am just dying over that kitchen! Isn’t it stunning? And though the outdoor space is completely different from the Miracle Mile home, it’s pretty spectacular!
If you love this home, then you are sure to appreciate this pendant light, this chandelier, & this faceted table. Don’t forget the baskets, the cement accents, & the velvet wingback chair!
You can find these homes and more inspiration at Disc Interiors (and they are on instagram!)
