GUYS!! ย We are Flippingย a house!! ย I am about to hyperventilate because I am SO excited! ย A few weeks ago one of my best friends asked me if I wanted to flip a house with her and of course I nearly FLIPPED! ย She had seen my work in our master bathroom and thought we could do great things together. ย (Yippee!)
We found the perfect house to flip…ย With the perfect location in Roswell, Georgia (just north of Atlanta), great schools, the best shopping nearby, and gobs of charm, this house had us both smitten immediately. ย With a German gingerbread exterior just dying to reveal itself and a mossy lot that backs up to theย Country Club of Roswell’s Golf Course, this house seems to have it ALL…. Oh, yeah. except it hasn’t been updated hardly at all since 1976. ย With some serious odors, a Harvest Gold toilet in one bathroom and seriously weirdย affecting for bars throughout, we are ECSTATIC about getting this renovation under way! ย Today we have the before walk through and will be updating you throughout the project.

The Living Room/Dining Room: Serious wallpaper action, rock fireplace, rock floor, and outdated lights. ย We’ve got our work cut out for us!
The Kitchen/Breakfast Room: outdated, run down, popcorn ceilings, and appliances fromย 1976. ย YIKES!
The Family Room: Separated from the kitchen, rock fireplace, and gross paneling
Master Bedroom: Doesn’t feel too masterish. ย Gross ceiling fan, laminate floors, popcorn ceilings, and a built in vanity… in the bedroom!
Master Bathroom: Cramped, dark, creepy… but the tiles were cool (at least to me!)
Secondary Bedrooms: Popcorn Ceilings, New lighting, new closet, new carpet
The Basement: The stuff nightmares are made of. ย GUT it. ย STAT.
Location? ย PERFECT!!!
