This is literally one of my favorite things to do! Call me a nerd, but I’m absolutely obsessed with creating design boards. The other day, I woke up before everyone else, the house was quiet and still, so I made myself a big cup of coffee and sat down at my desk. Next thing I know, a few hours have flown by, and I’m sitting there, happier than ever!
Designing isn’t just about picking individual items for me; I see whole rooms, complete spaces. When I create these boards, I’m not just placing pretty decor—I’m envisioning how the room feels, how it looks, and how it functions. Each piece has to find its place within the overall design. Without that intention, the room can feel like a collection of random things thrown together.
A few weeks ago, I shared my Fall 2024 color palette, and every design I’ve created since is built on that foundation. I’m loving how these palettes and textures come to life, making spaces feel both cozy and curated. It’s like taking the elements of a room and watching them come together into something beautiful and functional.
Honestly, there’s nothing more exciting for me than seeing these ideas transform from a design board into a real-life space! I hope these boards inspire you as much as they’ve inspired me!
