“And all through the house, not a creature was stirring…”
That line was running through my mind this evening as I listened to the quiet of the evening setting in. We took the kids to earlier today to Atlanta’s absolutely stunning, FOX theatre, to see Nutcracker and while I was watching it I thought, “Well, now it feels like Christmas!” Isn’t it funny how those little things help us feel a sense of time, especially when this year felt like such a whirlwind!
We’ve got a few things left on our list before we can officially call it Christmas. One of those things is making Greek “snowball” cookies (we hope to share those with you on Saturday during the AMAZON LIVE!) and we always read the Night Before Christmas (the edition I had as a kid and read with my parents every year!)
What about you? Are you done shopping? Got all your baking done? What traditions do you have that really make the season feel like it’s “HERE”?
As I reflect back on these last few weeks of preparation and celebration, I feel truly blessed to be on this incredible journey with you all! It’s been such a fun year, decorating and baking, and buying gifts… what fun!!
Thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of your adventure in creating these cherished memories! You are most certainly a part of ours! We love you all so much and hope that the weekend ahead is full of hope and light and love and warmth and family and friends and loads of coziness!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from our family to yours!
xxV
PS I also did a little “panic shopping” on Amazon for several things that we always have on Christmas and I just realized that it’s only a few days before the big day! (I added them to my moodboard just in case you forgot, too!).
