Old World Meets Modern Scandinavian Design

Every one of us has our personal blend of styles and this home is a breathtaking take on “Old World Meets New Scandi Style”, which can be pretty tricky to pronounce, let alone create in your own home.  And yet Liza Laserow, of Laserow Design, makes it look so easy.  By keeping the walls white, the floors dark, and the arrangements simple, Liza took on this petite Chelsea apartment, piece by piece.  Each room features well thought out vignettes that cleverly divide the open space into smaller  bites with oversized rugs and compelling artwork, both of which borrow from either an indulgent Old World style or a simple and modern Scandinavian design.  Of course, a few key French pieces. including the Le Corbusier chair, add a new level of luxury that will make your mouth water.  A great many people would willingly go hungry for Le Corbusier…
