It’s happening! While we were in Florida to visit my Grandmother (do you remember Yiyoula?) and take a quick jaunt through Disney (check out my Highlights on Instagram!) our powder room and laundry room got demoed. As well as our fireplace as you might be able to tell from above.
I’m completely ready to dive into the rest of these main floor renovations, especially the CARPET. That HAS GOT TO GO. We are ordering our flooring today from Authentic Reclaimed Hardwoods… in Shades of Grey! I came within a breath of ordering Salty Biscuit but I decided that the shades of grey will be very classic and area appropriate for resale. What can I say! I’m a calculated risk taker… and sometimes a long calculator since we’ve been dreaming up this little plan of ours since we moved in.
We need to buy a few pieces to go in this main living area… these pieces are just standing in from other rooms to give me a visual… though the trunk may have to stay and do you see my new lights? I LOVE them… even if they were meant for the bathroom! LOL! Check out our Instagram IGTV for more on that!
