It’s been making it’s way here for a while, but more and more people are starting to push back on the stark white interiors we’ve been seeing for a while.  It, of course, is the very thing that will shock you… deep, dark color.  I know.  You don’t quite believe me.  But it’s true.

Now I’m not predicting that we are about to see every color in the rainbow, but instead expect to see deep jewel tones, quietly shifting away from cool shades of gray to warm blue hues that will include navy, deep sea blue, even a bit of deep jade mixed with taupe and earthy browns.  We also expect to see a lot more gold and glam mixed with wood and natural materials.  Think plush art deco meets earthy practicality.

But don’t fear.  You don’t have to throw out all your gray stuff you just bought.  Instead, you might want to think about mixing your accessories with a new deeper hued wall color.
