It finally hit me today. Wham. Homesickness. It took a lot longer than I thought it would be kick in, but there it was on a cold and misty morning in LA. Yes, you read that right. It was cold and grey here in the suddenly not-so-sunny California and we had a good laugh about the irony of the little black rain cloud that seems to follow us everywhere we go (seriously, I think we should start trying to sell our little magical rain dance!) But I suddenly realized that I missed the familiarity of home, the grey days of Copenhagen and the comfort of my own bed.
I don’t know where we will end up and the temporary place in Beverly Hills really isn’t so bad… (plus a little In-n-out Burger went a long way!) But for now, it’s endless daydreaming about what I will actually do when I have a home of my own again.
This light and bright home in Sweden really caught my eye. I love the little child’s room as well. It’s a space I know my boys would love!
Take a peek and see what you think. We are off to shop and find a little glamor in a city that has so little to offer. (ha ha!) Any tips for places we need to go while in LA?
Find out more about this beautiful home for sale in Sweden at Alvhem Makleri and to see more photos!

Wait, you posted a few weeks ago about 2 gorgeous Arts & Crafts houses you were choosing between in the Pacific Northwest. I forget if they were in Portland or Seattle, but you sounded like you were moving there for your husband’s new job & you were literally deciding between those 2 houses to purchase. I have been waiting for a post revealing which of the them you bought.
As for LA, I was only there once, for a friend’s wedding. She had photos taken in a big rose garden in Pasadena. That rose garden sounds like a pleasant place to visit – I’m sure locals can tell you how to find it.

Sorry for the confusion. Those were not for sale, but were two completely different styles that I thought you guys might find interesting. We still haven’t settled on a city and Jack is interviewing in several, which is how we ended up in LA this week. 🙂
