I have been feeling myself inching towards complete and absolute exhaustion, but the overwhelming simplicity and warmth of this beautiful home in Sweden gave me just the boost I needed. It’s soothing design is like getting an instant shot of comfort in the veins and as soon as I saw it I felt so inspired! I am so encouraged to realize all over again that you don’t have to own a million things to have a beautiful home, and living with less can actually feel quite liberating!
This home is about finding the balance between simple materials such as linen and clay and blending them with organic shapes, such as the modern round table and the curved cement vase. A bit of earthiness and edginess keep it from feeling either too mundane or too tense. The cotton stems are a compelling and ingenius addition as well! Take a peek and see what you think…
