As a designer, inspiration can come from anywhere and for me, that oftentimes comes from architecture, art, and fashion. I love watching all the runway shows (usually dressed in my silk pajamas while sitting at my desk. Anyone else love live streams?!).
I’ve always said that, at least for me, fashion and home design are intricately connected. Some days I want to have an edgier look and so I wear my black coated jeans and grab faux croc pillows for the sofa and others days I am lost in a Dior fantasy and switch from leather to lace and toile for myself and the house!
Unfortunately, I have never had the budget to run and buy everything I want from my favorite fashion houses, so I invest every now and then and then save the rest of the time. I’ve gotten quite good at replicating the looks that I love, both inside my home and with my wardrobe! Today I wanted to share some of my top looks that are inspired by design houses such as YSL, Tom Ford, and Dior, but all of these looks are sourced from Amazon!
First up, we have a look inspired by the exquisite Silk Crepé from YSL. Silk shirts have been my wardrobe’s superstar for ages—they’re the ultimate blend of elegance and allure. I teamed it up with stunning plaid ankle pants. The fusion of flowing grace with fitted finesse—absolute perfection!

Next, we have a look radiating the timeless elegance of Chanel’s tweed combination. The iconic tweed jackets paired with shorts, a headband, and those boots—chef’s kiss! I recreated this look with an affordable set from Amazon and even found a quilted pair of boots from Amazon as well!
Whether I’m heading to work, enjoying an afternoon shopping spree, dining with friends, or going out for a date night, these looks have become my go-to’s!
