I absolutely love bringing living, organic items into my rooms! It’s become one of my design trademarks that I use all the time. I love to use real trees and plants in rooms that I design, but sometimes I find it easier to use faux options due to low light, maintenance, and/ or my clients don’t want to tend to plants.
I always struggled to find large faux trees that didn’t look fake because let’s face it. Even when we are faking it we still want it to look real! Recently I’ve discovered some truly amazing faux trees and I’ve used them in my own home and in client projects as well.
I’ve grown to appreciate faux trees for a few reasons. First, sometimes there’s just not enough light to grow a real tree. We’ve tried to grow real in several spaces and have never been able to. Secondly, sometimes the needed size of a real tree is just too expensive. I’m able to get a faux tree for the fraction of the price of a real tree.
The new faux trees are designed with such attention to detail that they can easily be mistaken for the real thing. From the texture of the leaves to the realistic trunks, these trees add a touch of nature to any space without the need for sunlight or constant watering. Plus, they’re incredibly low maintenance and can last for years with proper care.
One of my favorite things about faux trees is the variety of options available. Whether you’re looking for a tall fiddle leaf fig to add a statement to your living room or a small olive tree to brighten up your kitchen, there’s a faux tree out there to suit every style and space. Plus, they’re perfect for those with allergies or pets, as they don’t produce pollen or pose a risk to curious furry friends.
Here are a few trees I absolutely LOVE!
