Life has been happening pretty quickly for us these last few week, but over the weekend we moved into our temporary place. Our shipment should be arriving soon (it’s landed in Charleston and is making it’s way to Atlanta by train) so we really needed a place to call home, even if it’s just for a few months while we figure out all the final details of finding a house and getting the kids in the best school district possible before classes start in August!
With new beds, 10 suitcases, and a few borrowed pieces from family, we are already settling in to our little place and would be delighted to have you join us as we transform this temporary space on a budget! We hope over the next few weeks to share some budget friendly ideas, space saving tips, and a bit of the craziness that happened getting in here and what will come as we search for a permanent place.
Here’s the apartment, which was just renovated and happens to be in a very beautiful area of Atlanta!
Anyone else ready to get this place whipped into shape? We need to buy beds, a sofa, and at least 50% of the 75% of our stuff that we sold in Denmark. (My husband begs to purchase only 30%, but we shall see who wins that battle!) Let the decorating begin!
