Imagine stumbling upon a treasure you didn’t know existed! That’s how I felt when I discovered that the Four Seasons Anguilla was the first international design project by the iconic Kelly Wearstler. Once I saw the photos of the resort, I was instantly hooked! Stunning White Sandy Beaches, modern and elegant pools, gorgeous cocktails, AND Kelly Wearstler’s design?! ….OMG! YEESSSS!
When we pulled up to the Four Seasons in Anguilla I was cool and collected on the outside but on the inside, it was a different story. I may have looked calm but inside I was screaming and jumping up and down! This place was utter perfection! To be honest, when I heard about Anguilla I had no idea where it was but I’m so glad that we took the chance and made the visit!
A Trio of Perfection: Tropical, Elevated, Modern
The Four Seasons Anguilla perfectly strikes a perfect balance between a lush tropical environment, an elevated luxury experience, and cutting-edge modern design. This place was not only beautiful to look at but also so approachable and easy to live in!
Kelly Wearstler’s is truly a genius! She did an amazing job integrating in the elements of Anguilla into the design. The use of materials like marble, black wicker, leather, shagreen, and organic wood not only reflects the environment but elevated it as well. This approach made the resort feel like an extension of the island rather than something placed there.
Bringing the Beach Home
What I adore about Kelly’s design philosophy is how it ignores the typical beach-themed clichés. Instead, it offers something timeless and effortlessly chic that you can easily integrate into any home decor. This isn’t about recreating a beach at home but rather bringing a touch of that refined, laid-back luxury into your everyday spaces.
Here are a few decor pieces inspired by my stay at the Four Seasons Anguilla, perfect for anyone looking to add a touch of this modern, elegant aesthetic to their home:
