I’d love to tell you that I have a fancy dinner out planned for the weekend, but actually, there is no where I would rather be this weekend than at home! I’ve got a date night planned that involves a bath so bubbly it’s overflowing and silky pajamas to slide into (my favorite chocolatey brown ones from Gap are on an amazing sale at the moment!)
If things go according to my plans I’d love a sushi dinner on the couch and to begin my favorite tradition of the holiday season- a Bond-a-thon. I love to start at the beginning and watch every single one before Christmas. Jack and the kids humor my little obsession, even though Jack usually watches through his eyelids (hahaha anyone else have a partner who always falls asleep watching movies?) but I don’t mind. I get to watch all my favorite scenes which usually involve great interiors!
I love to let the kids pick out a favorite treat, make my famous popcorn, and just all sit together and cuddle and just BE. It’s just about being together and creating these little moments of celebration.
So, this weekend is all about cozy blankets, fluffy slippers (I found the most amazing pair on amazon!), and satin pajamas… and, of course, doing the rest of our holiday decorating! I CAN’T WAIT!
