Small, Dark, and Edgy? No, I am not talking about myself, (ha, ha!) but rather this super cool space in one of my favorite Swedish towns, Gothenburg.
There’s no use lyin’. I’m completely jealous over those black floors and trim. I’ve been saying for at least a year that I want to do exactly that to my place and seeing it look so freaking awesome, just makes me want to do it even more. (I will have a HUGE announcement coming very soon as to why I am not currently painting. Seriously. HUGE.) Ok, enough baiting.
This place deserves it’s fifteen minutes of fame because it really is a super cool blend of modern and traditional pieces that is bound together by a monochromatic color scheme with a few plants and bits of wood to keep it from feeling too stark. The high gloss finish on the floors and trim immediately up the elegance factor and I keep thinking to myself, OMG. Do I know this girl? Don’t you feel like you know her, too? I swear she must live on my Fashion Pinboard! I imagine that she wears tailored jackets, ripped jeans, and heels ALL THE TIME. And, of course she is super chic but you can’t help but love her because she’s so annoyingly sweet.
